I grew up with many animals and pets. From 1978 to 1982 I lived on a remote hobby farm near Sudbury, Ontario. We had over 60 different animals. There were 2 horses, 2 cows and 2 pigs, about 30 chickens, a dozen turkeys, at least 25 goats, some ducks, 3 dogs, 5 cats and at one point even a raccoon.

To make things more interesting our farm was constantly visited by timber wolves and the occassional moose and bear.

This all started with my first cat One-Spot who I received in 1976 when I was 7. My next three personal pets Motorboat, Shadow and Rhoda quickly followed. As I grew up, my family continued to welcome other pets into the family. Someday I plan to welcome some new pets into my home but I will always cherish my orignal four friends.
